Job description

  • Structural analysis.
  • Design of steel structures.
  • Preparation of technical documentation including 3d models, design drawings and design reports.
  • Perform your design work using 3d modelling software.
  • Follow up fabrication at workshops.
  • Work with early phase studies and follow up the execution of projects.
  • Participate in design, constructability, and safety reviews.
  • Perform offshore surveys.
  • Perform structural analysis, calculations, and prepare design reports for Mainsteel/outfitting structures.
  • Review analysis and calculation reports submitted by other engineers.
  • Document strength and design details in compliance with governing codes and specifications.

Position requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a structural analysis engineer.
  • Knowledge of relevant design rules and standards.
  • Familiarity with PEM, GENIE, STAAD PRO, Navisworks, and Mathcad. Discipline engineering methods & tools, processes, and activities in relevant execution phases.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to interface with other disciplines and parties, ensuring EMM best practices in the area of responsibility.
  • Experience in modification projects within the offshore industry.
  • High-level proficiency with analysis tools such as Staad, Mathcad and Sesam.
  • Relevant higher technical education, such as a master's or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Fluency in both Norwegian and English, both written and oral.
