About our client

Our client, for whom we carry out the order as a responsible subcontractor, is a very modern workplace in the shipbuilding industry, which has extensive experience in the production of steel parts of transformer stations and complete Oil&Gas process modules. Over 4,000 sections of land towers manufactured and over 1,000 completed projects for the shipbuilding industry. The company is authorized to weld all steel structures, pipelines, tanks, lifting devices, bridges and ship structures, including the NATO code of the national economy entity entitling to implement projects for the defense industry (NCAGE).
The company has modern prefabrication lines for CSP and LSP flat sections, a production hall in Gdańsk with an area of 65,000 m2 with heavy lifting equipment and production halls in Gdynia.

Your duties at work are:

  • making a connection in butt and fillet joints (BW+FW) in the 138 and 136 welding method,
  • minimum requirements in items PF, PE. Material group FM1, FM2, FM3, FM5,
  • support for mechanized welding processes according to PN-EN ISO 14732,
  • preparation of the station: completion, preparation of equipment, identification of materials for welding, description of the weld according to the welder's number, welding dates in accordance with WPS standards,
  • technical draw reading,
  • care for the quality of the manufactured elements,
  • care for cleanliness and order in the workplace.

Position requirements

  • current certificate according to PN-EN ISO 9606-1: TÜV certificate, method 136/138 (through our agency cost PLN 1,200),
  • performing the Site Test and obtaining a positive result from the VT and UT tests.
  • knowledge of the formation and prevention of excessive welding deformations,
  • knowledge of the English language at a basic level,
  • 2 years of practice in welding steel and offshore construction elements is welcome.

We offer

hourly remuneration: PLN 36-37.00/hour net depending on skills.


Additional information:

  • working hours: 5 to 6 days a week, Monday to Friday: 8 hours a day, Saturday: 8 hours,
  • shift work: yes; Monday to Friday: 1st shift: 06:00 - 14:00, 2nd shift: 14:00 - 22:00, if there is work on Saturdays, only the 1st shift: 06:00 - 14:00.
  • form of employment: mandate contract,
  • commuting to work: on your own,
  • accommodation: organized by us, paid by the employee (from PLN 600 to PLN 850 per month),
  • employee care: coordinator care provided,
  • place of work: Gdańsk/Gdynia.
  • legalization of stay and work in Poland: possibility of obtaining a residence card/work permit.
