About our client

Our client, for whom we carry out the order as a responsible subcontractor, is a very modern workplace in the shipbuilding industry, which has extensive experience in the production of steel parts of transformer stations and complete Oil&Gas process modules. Over 4,000 sections of land towers manufactured and over 1,000 completed projects for the shipbuilding industry. The company is authorized to weld all steel structures, pipelines, tanks, lifting devices, bridges and ship structures, including the NATO code of the national economy entity entitling to implement projects for the defense industry (NCAGE).
The company has modern prefabrication lines for CSP and LSP flat sections, a production hall in Gdańsk with an area of 65,000 m2 with heavy lifting equipment and production halls in Gdynia.

Your duties at work are:

  • preparation and completion of tools and materials necessary for assembly,

  • assembly of steel structures based on technical documentation,

  • sheet metal cutting according to free-hand routes with an oxygen or plasma torch,
  • grinding and cleaning elements before and after assembly,
  • execution of tack welds,
  • managing vertical transport in the scope of servicing your workplace,
  • performs beveling of pipes and profiles free-hand and according to the route,
  • performs inter-operational measurements,
  • trains less experienced employees.


Position requirements

  • certificate of completion of the course / internal certificate of the arc tack and thermal cutting machine,
  • certificate of completion of the crane/hook training course - signaller,
  • knowledge of technological documentation, with particular emphasis on reading hull drawings,
  • knowledge of metrology issues,
  • knowledge of tracing techniques,
  • knowledge of project standardization documentation (norms, performance standards),
  • knowledge of the formation and prevention of welding deformations,
  • knowledge of the English language at a basic level,
  • 1 year of practice in the assembly of steel structure elements is welcome.



We offer

hourly remuneration: PLN 35-36.00/hour net depending on skills.


Additional information:

  • working hours: 5 to 6 days a week, Monday to Friday: 8 hours a day, Saturday: 8 hours,
  • shift work: yes; Monday to Friday: 1st shift: 06:00 - 14:00, 2nd shift: 14:00 - 22:00, if there is work on Saturdays, only the 1st shift: 06:00 - 14:00.
  • form of employment: mandate contract,
  • commuting to work: on your own,
  • accommodation: organized by us, paid by the employee (from PLN 600 to PLN 850 per month),
  • employee care: coordinator care provided,
  • place of work: Gdańsk/Gdynia.
  • legalization of stay and work in Poland: possibility of obtaining a residence card/work permit.
