Freelance Translator

Job description

JOB INFORMATION

Type of cooperation: long-term, freelance
Localization: it's remote cooperation. You can be located anywhere between (UTC+0) and (UTC+3) timezones
Work hours: you need to be available to accept projects during our office hours (9-17, Mon-Fri)
Availability: we are looking to start cooperation with freelancers who potentially can translate 8-10k words a week

Whom are we looking for:
Professional translators, who are skilled and experienced and in localizing texts from English into:

French Canadian
Mexican Spanish
Greek
Ukrainian

Responsibilities:

Translating texts from English into one of the languages mentioned above, chiefly related to video games
Editing texts in one of the languages mentioned above
Making sure that deadlines are met
Collaborating with PMs, editors, and other translators.

Position requirements

Qualifications:

Perfect knowledge of English in all possible aspects (punctuation, grammar, and spelling)
Even better command of your target working language
Experience with translation, preferably game or e-sport localization projects
Linguistic degree preferred, but you may also be a last-year student
Attention to detail (use the keyword "Forest" in your application)
Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel)
Passion for games is an advantage
Proficiency in CAT tools is an advantage.
