Job description

  • Prepare and issue work packages for EIT
  • Work in E3D model.
  • Prepare and issue scale plot for detailing installation information to construction.
  • Follow up of Electrical Procurement Packages.
  • Co-ordination with suppliers and review of documents and drawings.
  • Engineering inputs to job packages.
  • As-builts of supplier drawings and red line mark-ups received from offshore.
  • Responsible for electrical system engineering for LV consumers and switchboards.
  • Responsible for electrical calculations eg: short circuit calculations.
  • Report to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager all matters of importance.
  • Responsible for Quality and HSSE in own projects.
  • Ensure identification of changes and input to change requests.
  • Technical procurement activities related to mechanical packages (as PRD).
  • Input to other disciplines.
  • Coordination and cooperation with suppliers and client.

Position requirements

  • Construction or Engineering experience from offshore project.
  • min 2 years’ experience in Oil and Gas industry.
  • Good knowledge of MIPS.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of Electrical, Instrument and Telecom installation.
  • Experience of having main responsibility for EIT work packages.
  • Good knowledge of project execution
  • Good knowledge of project execution in detail design.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both orally and written.
  • Bachelor or technician degree. Relevant experience may make up for formal education.
  • Be independent, flexible and able to adjust to different work assignments and demands.
