EIT Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a field engineer to work within the Electro, Instrument and telekomunication field at our client site. Based of previous experience and preference alternative work task may be agreed upon.

Assist the production with solving of the technical problems which could occur during the execution of building- or installation work at a construction site.
Assist the production with interpretation of drawings and job basis.
Prepare work basis and documentation for technical solutions in cooperation with the shop engineering.
Check location and installation are construction and HSSE friendly.
Close communication with work leader (FIL), method, shop engineering, PRE, with more.
Continually strive for good HSSE performance throughout the work.
Interface towards IT/IS related to engineering register, Navis and MIPS.
Close co-ordination with production.
Interface against all disciplines (EIT, piping, structure, civil, HVAC, etc.), suppliers, subcontractors, production and planning department.
Close communication with work leader (FIL), method, shop engineering, PRE, with more.

Position requirements

Construction or Engineering experience from offshore project.
min 2 years’ experience in Oil and Gas industry.
Theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of Electrical, Instrument and Telecom installation.
Fluent in English, both orally and written.
Bachelor or technician degree. Relevant E&I-experience may make up for formal education.
Be independent, flexible and able to adjust to different work assignments and demands.
